CSCSS CYBERIMMERSION Programme

The CSCSS CYBERIMMERSION programme encompasses all aspects of cyberspace cybersecurity with a goal of graduating students that are fluent with concepts and abilities associated with National Level Cyber Programmes.

A National Level Programme

CYBERIMMMERSION is a premier, one of a kind, programme that delivers full time study of 20 weeks of class time in a controlled secure environment. IMMERSION delegates have access to a wide variety of resources, including
a dedicated mentoring staff with experience and background in conducting cyber operations at the national level in the US, Canada and the United Kingdom. This rare opportunity is only offered twice per year and is designed to offer national level capabilities for national agencies, corporate stakeholders and prepare them to conduct cyberspace and cybersecurity operations.

CYBERIMMERSION is specifically designed to foster ‘out of band’ thinking in response to the scenarios and challenges. The programme is part of an ongoing effort to assess and strengthen cyber preparedness, at a national level, and related processes in response to ever-evolving threats.

This course of study is designed specifically by CSCSS to take strong IT and computer security candidates who show aptitude in cyber/sciences and grow their understanding to the point where they become not only cyber experts, but also thought leaders in their field. Although there is no hard and fast rule on who can participate, it is recommended that candidate students undergo screening prior to entrance into the program to ensure eligibility.

Through these efforts (NATIONAL) agencies will improve both their capabilities and response processes, strengthening and reinforcing the national cyber resilience. CYBERIMMERSION consists of modular building block approach to exercises at
the organizational, national, and international level that provides opportunity to design and build upon experiences in an environment dedicated and designed elevate capabilities.

Delegates of this programme have access to an experienced multinational network of cybersecurity and intelligence experts acting as mentors with exclusive access to the most in-depth cyber threat intelligence assets available.

CYBERIMMERSION Curriculum + Exercises

Exercises are based on lecture, lab and role based events where delegates assess their cyber preparedness, resources, skills and threat plans; ultimately in a cyber exchange in a “REDFLAG” cyber war game. This will identify and simulate how to engage elements that can be represented as “State Actors” throughout the REDFLAG exercise. Participants learn to validate cyber defense postures, technologies, policies, plans, and the procedures that enable response, recovery, and continuity of operations. During exercises students will continually receive mentoring and instruction to rapidly increase and evolve their knowledge of the domain.
