The CSCSS Global Cyber Initiative
The CGCI model drives commitment and action to outcomes in the following Five ways:
Inspiration + Innovation
CSCSS presents today’s foremost thinkers, innovators, and visionaries to address tomorrow’s cyberspace challenges. Thought leaders, luminaries, and visionaries push the conversation forward, inspiring us to be creative and innovative through collective action
Peer Networking + Connectivity
On the international stage CSCSS offers a unique forum and opportunity to interact with peers across multiple sectors and industries at our events and through our projects, programmes and resources. CGCI is focused at the executive branch of companies, NGOs and foundations, government representatives, and prominent cybersecurity researchers.
Partnerships + Commitment
The CSCSS Global Cyber Initiative builds partnerships of commitment between businesses, governments, NGOs, and individuals to work to secure cyberspace; to find solutions that are resilient, and to transform through cyberspace the global communities from what they are now to what they can be, tomorrow. Through our partnerships and commitment from industry we will provide a common ground for cyberspace and cyber science research and development. Through our work we create and build robust relationships with international partners at all levels to strengthen cyberspace and enable a whole-of-concept cyberspace strategy
Knowledge Exchange
Driving knowledge exchange creates the foundation for informed action. Industry leaders examine and evaluate current industry standards, programmes, and best practices. Established industry experts and leaders debate different interventions and forward new innovations and fresh concepts. Through this process we provide a continuous flow of information leading, potentially to a new solution, innovation, or policy.
Convergence + Collaboration
CGCI provides a provocative stage for convergence and collaborate to best leverage knowledge exchange, resources, expertise, and sharing. Relationships and partnerships develop organically from peer networking, while others grow through issue-specific focus or CSCSS facilitation.
Commitment to Action
Through the CGCI Initiative commitments represent bold new approaches to address global cyberspace challenges.
As Albert Einstein once said, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
Development of new approaches to partnership are designed to maximize effect and impact. Commitments to the programmes and projects can be small or large, global or regional. Those commitments benefit from and help translate practical goals into meaningful and quantifiable outcomes.
Cyberspace is dynamic. We need to be just dynamic and agile in order to support the development of new and ongoing commitments, act proactivity, and promote facilitation.
The model which CSCSS is based on fundamentally enables discourse, analysis, debate, and provides a stage to converge promoting opportunity to identify commitment partners, showcases programmes, projects and the actions taken communicates the results of the work produced.
